It turns out that in Pompeii, they used to mark the road with “arrows” directing men to the nearest brothel. There are several of these throughout the city. I like to call them pompenises.

the results clearly show that anger is more influential than other emotions such as joy or sadness, a finding that could have significant implications for our understanding of the way information spreads through social networks
This is a really interesting find which might have several ramifications for how social media develops in the future. E g how many companies or governments are interested in communication structure that increases the speed and spread of anger?
